Once pulp has been dried, it's time to start creating your cardboard! For corrugated cardboard, we use two pieces of paper or card called liners and a portion of fluted cardboard. The fluting helps us give the cardboard further strength and a higher level of protection against damage.
Now that we have a complete corrugated cardboard sheet, it is time to cut that cardboard to size. Our machines are programmed to cut the cardboard to scale automatically depending on production demand. Once cut, it is then sent to our printing department for custom printing as per client needs.
Boxes can be constructed in a number of different ways, but the most common way is to use flaps and slots. These boxes are best suited to businesses who want to construct their boxes on demand. For more robust boxes, we utilize either glue and stitching to fold sections together and keep the box secure. It's off to the client then.
